Came to US in 1883 age 21, with brother Henrich (Henry) and sister Maria Sophia Hickert (Dittlinger).

In 1885 got own homestead in New Almelo gave/sold to Bernard to marry.

Frederick born at age 27, Mamie at 28, Otto at 20, Gertrude at 32, Freddie at 33, Leo at 35, Aloysious at 38

Mamie Seller was the only child to make her 50th wedding anniversary
The children died from the youngest to the oldest.

Michael dies when she is 50 and he 53

Left Germany May 20, 1881. At age 22 (record sent by Stefan.)
Per book "Germans to America Vol 39 pg115." The ship he arrived on was the Waesland from Antwerp to Philadelphia. Arrived June 11, 1881.

[NI277] George moved to a Catholic orphanage in Germany maybe Frankfurt was not catholic. His father was a Tailor. His mother died on the birth of Anna.

Per interview by Joan he was in the Navy from 1913 to 1917. Emma introduced him to Blanche in LA.

[NI378] "Strangely enough Nikolaus Schwartz did not carry all forward his children to America. One year later, to 6.3.1873, Balthaser Schwartz announced himself stateless to the Auswanderungsbhoerden and indicated, he would like to go to North America to his parents Nikolaus Schwartz and Gertrud Winters, (Note Gertrud most likely did not migrate as she had died in 1872) which emigrated one year ago to North America with only four of his brothers and sisters. He and four of his brothers are remained, because their father did not have means during his emigration enough carry all forward his children and have respectable the travel to be paid.
