If you wish to calculate properties
of a compound and that is not currently in the database, you must add it. Using the
following screen you can enter as much or as little data as you have. Only the Empirical
Formula and the Name are Required. The MW is necessary, but will be calculated from the
empirical formula if not entered. The above screen shows the entry of point properties,
this needs to be done first.
Selecting File and Save+Load from the Windows Menu Bar will save the compound to
the database and load it, setting you to calculate more properties. As seen in the screen below,
loading the compound name, empirical formula and point data (if any), you can now
select a temperature correlated property to enter. These must be done one at a time.

Selecting vaport pressure will open the next screen, asking that you enter parameters
to any of the equations listed. The properties can only be entered in SI units.
To aid you in making sure that the parameters are correct, you can validate in any
units. The equation and parameters will be used to calculate the property (in this case
vapor pressure) at the minimum and maximum and half way inbetween temperatures. Once you
are satisfied that you have entered proper parameters, you can "load" them.

If you wish to
quit, select File and Return from the Menu.
